Hyundai makes some of the best cars to buy, and that’s been the case for a while. However, the automaker is issuing another recall, the second in the last couple of weeks. This time, the issue impacts a number of its most popular vehicles. As always, the auto mechanics at Hyundai dealers will fix the problem for free.

Hyundai has a new call recall on its hands

Hyundai, like all automakers, is no stranger to a car recall. According to The Associated Press, the issue impacts about 226,000 of what many would call some of the best cars to buy. Specifically, the Hyundai Elantra and Santa Fe from 2021 to 2022 are included.

So, what prompted Hyundai to issue its latest car recall? The report says that there are instances in some of these vehicles where the rearview camera image fails to show up. Apparently, there is an issue with the circuit boards for the cameras, which can cause them to wear out over time. Of course, the image may show up, but the issue could cause low visibility. Naturally, this is a massive safety issue for people who rely on the cameras to back up.

As mentioned, auto mechanics at Hyundai dealerships will fix the issue for free. Essentially, they will replace the cameras. Impacted Hyundai Elantra and Santa Fe owners can expect an official notification letter around the middle of January. Of course, they can also call their local Hyundai dealers with any questions. Despite the car recall, these are solid vehicles that many people love.
