The 2019 Chevy Equinox has three engine options. The 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine provides 170 horsepower and 203 lb-ft of torque. You can also upgrade to the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine for 252 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque.
Also, a 1.6-liter turbo-diesel four-cylinder engine option offers 137 horsepower and 240 lb-ft of torque. The RAV4 and CR-V don’t have a diesel engine option.

Depending on which build you choose, the Chevy Equinox can tow between 1,500 to 3,500 lb, which is on par with its rivals. It can also accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 7.2 seconds, making it fun and sporty.
Also, the 2019 Chevy Equinox offers all-wheel-drive. It’s switchable AWD, meaning you can turn all-wheel-drive off when you don’t need it to save fuel. When you do need extra traction for snow or gravel, simply engage all-wheel-drive.
