You can’t even buy the Yellowstone Ram 2500 HD truck in America
I’m trying to wrap my mind around the latest Ram truck promotion that feels pretty American. Stellantis is building a Yellowstone Ram 2500 HD truck that will launch with the final season of the show, but it’s not available in America.
Why isn’t the Yellowstone Ram 2500 HD truck in America?
Yellowstone swept the nation as an incredibly popular TV series for years. It’s all about being cowboy tough on the ranch with your big Ram trucks, guns, helicopters, cows, and more.
So one would think that a special edition Yellowstone Ram 2500 HD truck would be a hit in the United States. However, Stellantis disagrees.
Apparently, Yellowstone is an even bigger sensation in Australia, so that’s where the special edition truck is heading. Despite being about the Dutton family in Montana, those down under are more obsessed than Americans.
Ram’s office in Australia and Paramount collaborated on this project. The Yellowstone special edition Ram truck is based on the 2500 Heavy Duty model.
It’s equipped with the Cummins turbocharged 6.7-liter V8 engine with 370 hp and 850 lb-ft of torque. With this diesel engine, you can tow up to 19,990 lbs and carry a payload of up to 3,150 lbs.

The exterior features Yellowstone graphics on the sides of the bed badges on the front doors, and a third badge above the rear sliding window.
Plus, the trim has a glossy black grille, mirrors, and badging. This beastly truck rides on black alloy wheels to complete the look.
It includes tech and features from the Laramie trim like 12-inch UConnect infotainment system, heated and ventilated leather seats, a power-operated tailgate, a heated steering wheel, an upgraded driver information display, LED interior lighting, a 10-speaker audio system, and rear parking sensors.
Those in Australia can order the Yellowstone Ram truck at a local dealership. There’s currently no production limit.
