You can’t have a Bugatti top-speed conversation without saluting the Bugatti Chiron. This supercar is all-things fast and furious, with its quad-turbocharged 8.0-liter W16 engine. The Bugatti Chiron price is offered at $3 million, and Bugatti says the Chiron is the “champion of performance” with its impressive capability. The Bugatti Chiron 0-60 mph time is clocked at 2.3 seconds.

The Bugatti Chiron Super Sport is another version of the Chiron that’s bred for speed. Its 1,577 horsepower allows this car to reach a Bugatti Chiron top speed of 273 mph. Converted to metric, the Bugatti Chiron top speed in km/h is roughly 439.35. It’s similar to the Chiron Super Sport 300 model, notorious for its world record-breaking 300 mph run.

Don’t forget about the Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport, either, with its top speed of 261 mph (about 420 km/h.) The Pur Sport is another thoroughbred in the Bugatti family with an impressive 0-60 mph time of 2.4 seconds and 0 to 124 mph in just 6.5 seconds.

What is the top speed of every Bugatti Veyron model?

The Bugatti Chiron isn’t the only racing stallion in the stable. The Bugatti Veyron is another faster-than-fast model commanding attention. The Veyron 16.4 launched in 2005 and continues to achieve impressive times on the track, aiming high to reach a top speed of over 400 km/h (248.5 mph) and accelerating from a quiet standstill to a soaring 100 mph in just under 3 seconds.

As Bugatti points out, the Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport combines the performance engineering of the Veyron coupe with the fun of a roadster. Pushing this version of the Veyron to its limits means reaching top speeds of 360 km/h (223.69 mph) with the roof down and 407 km/h (252.89 mph) with the roof intact. Who knew roadsters could be so fast?

There is also the wildly fast Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport, capable of achieving a top speed of 415 km/h (257.86 mph.) According to the Guinness World Record guidelines, this car earned the title of the fastest super sports car of its time. Even for Bugatti standards, the Veyron Super Sport was a top performer.

The Grand Sport Vitesse made its world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show back in 2012. A year later, the Grand Sport Vitesse made an even more incredible statement, setting another world speed record for the brand. At 408.84 km/h (about 254 mph), the Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse became the fastest production roadster on the planet at the time. No one knew a top-down variation could go so fast. However, the word “Vitesse” is French for speed, indicating Bugatti designed it that way all along.

What is the top speed of the Bugatti Bolide?

Some say that after the much success of the exotic Bugatti Chiron Super Sport, the automaker went back to the drawing board with intentions of coming up with something even more exhilarating and revolutionary. The Bugatti Bolide was born and is shaping up to be one of the quickest around the track. As Bugatti claims, this beast will lap the Nurburgring run in a mere 5 minutes and 23 seconds. That’s 20 seconds faster than the existing record holder for the lap.

The Bugatti Bolide top speed is estimated to be 310 mph or 484 km/h, proving the Bolide is a supercar worthy of speed recognition. Bugatti shared some of the other times recorded for the Bugatti Bolide, including the 0-100 km/h time of 2.17 seconds and the 0-200 km/h time of only 4.36 seconds. The proof is in those time trials. The Bugatti Bolide is an absolute beast.

What is the top speed of the Bugatti Centodieci?

Another Bugatti variation that seems to be bred for speed is the iconic Bugatti Centodieci. Featuring an exceptional design, the Centodieci is what some say is a reincarnation of the legendary EB110, known to be the fastest and most impressive supercar of the early 90s.

The Bugatti Centodieci, as Bugatti shares, offers the classic wedge shape married to the W16 engine that enthusiasts know and love. Only 10 of these limited-edition cars were developed. When you’re ready to push the pedal to the floor, be prepared to reach a top speed of 236 mph or 380 km/h with that Quad-Turbo. Acceleration times are equally exciting, with a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) time of 2.4 seconds and a 0-186 mph (0-300 km/h) time of a blistering 13.1 seconds.

Motor Authority described the Bugatti’s introduction in 2019 during Monterey Car Week. This $8.9 million supercar did not disappoint during its final testing at Nurburgring. The 8.0-liter engine could harness 1,577 horsepower, almost 100 more horses than the Bugatti Chiron.

What is the top speed of the Bugatti Divo?

Imagine an incredibly striking Bugatti, limited in production, with entirely new driving dynamics beyond any that Bugatti has already developed. Now imagine this new model is powered by the 8.0-liter W16 engine, capable of larger-than-life performance. You would be imagining the Bugatti Divo, and it’s no dream at all.

The Bugatti Divo looks futuristic and almost otherworldly with its distinct lines and hyper sports car capability. The Divo, according to Bugatti, is the automaker’s first coach-built hyper sports car of the 21st century. Named to honor sports car driver Albert Divo, the Bugatti Divo can whip around curves effortlessly. Bugatti-Broward says it offers 198 more pounds of downforce than the Chiron and can sweep the Nardo test track 8 seconds faster, too. It can scream from 0-60 mph in 2.4 seconds, and the Bugatti Divo top speed reading is 236 mph (379.80 km/h.)

A few suspension changes for the Bugatti Divo allow for a stiffer experience, making it ideal for racing. The added downforce seems to make this car more agile, too, even if Bugatti lowered its top speed a hair from the favorite Bugatti Chiron’s 261 mph. The Divo is certainly no diva, regardless, and a noteworthy track contender among the fastest.

What is the top speed of the Bugatti La Voiture Noire?

If Bugatti were to write a manifesto capable of paying homage to its long, rich history and dedication to revolutionary supercars, it would be in the form of a vehicle worthy of such great lineage. It would bring to bear all the technology, luxury amenities, and natural speed with it. That would be the Bugatti La Voiture Noire, with its French translation meaning literally, the black car. This manifesto of a car exists, and it’s every bit the exceptional ride you’d expect it to be.

Bugatti says this car is a celebration of automotive haute couture. As Top Speed reported, it’s not a myth or urban legend. The Bugatti La Voiture Noire is a one-off production intended to celebrate its 110th anniversary, paying its respects to the stunning Type 57SC Atlantic of World War II times.

This hyper car’s body is made entirely of carbon fiber, and the interior is rumored to be beyond luxurious. Powering this stealth machine is a 16-cylinder, 8-liter beast of an engine, capable of 1,479 horsepower. It can scorch pavement from 0-60 mph in just 2.4 seconds. Additionally, the top speed for the Bugatti La Voiture Noire is estimated at 260 mph or 161.55 km/h.

Are Bugatti cars the fastest in the world?

With all of these legendary hypercars and record-setters over the years, are Bugatti models the fastest in the world overall? A few fastest car compilations document some of the fastest track times for several supercar variations. As MV Organizing points out, the Bugatti Veyron is unbeatable in the street-legal car realm with its top speed of 257 mph (413.60 km/h.) It beats out the Ferrari California’s top speed of 193 mph and the 458 Italia’s top speed of 202 mph.

While the Bugatti Chiron broke the 300-mph top speed barrier, with its speed record in 2019 of 304.77 (490.48 km/h), it wouldn’t hold the fastest car title forever. The SSC Tuatara beat out both the Bugatti Chiron and Koenigsegg Agera RS in more recent timed trials. Still, Bugatti certainly can rank with the best and occasionally take a few titles. So, what other cars are faster?

What cars have higher top speeds than Bugattis?

The Luxe Digital ranked the fastest cars on record this year. It included a couple of Bugatti models, such as the Chiron Super Sport 300+ coming in sixth place with an official top speed of 304 mph (489.241 km/h) and the Bugatti Bolide coming in fourth with its 310 mph (498.897 km/h) top speed. According to this roster, the Devel Sixteen comes in number one, with a top speed of 347 mph (558.44 km/h.)

In a separate listing of the fastest cars assembled by The Manual, there are a few other supercars on the top 10 list worth mentioning, in addition to the Bugatti models. The Hennessey Venom F5, with its 301 mph (484.41 km/h) top speed, is faster than the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport with its record of 268 mph (431.30 km/h.) Additionally, the SSC Tuatara smashes them all at the number one spot with 316 mph (508.55 km/h.)

When it comes to some of the fastest cars globally, Bugatti has certainly earned its place among the best, as Hindustan Times suggests. With so many top speed contenders, past and present, the automaker doesn’t appear to be giving up the chase to always be the fastest. Now that you know some of the top speeds for these Bugatti sports car and hypercar favorites, will you be inspired to invest several million to buy one for yourself? The Bugatti price tag on each model sure isn’t cheap due to all of that speed.
