If you’re a fan of roadsters, pour one out for the BMW Z4. Bayerische Motoren Werke launched a roadster with the 1995 Z3, which transformed into the Z4 in 2002. But in March 2026, it will kill this bloodline when it ends production of the Z4 “Final Edition.”
What the BMW Z4 Final Edition includes
The current BMW Z4 is the G29 generation. It uses the same I6 BMW sells to Toyota for the GR Supra. Every roadster built after January 2026 will be a Final Edition. These cars will all be Frozen Matt Black with M High-Gloss Shadowline trim. They get a pop of color with red M Sport brake calipers. The red continues with red interior stitching. The Final Edition is a visual package across all four trims, with the top model making 340 horsepower.
After March, you can still buy a BMW convertible. Your options include the 4 Series or 8 Series convertible.
