The Toyota Tundra is offered with a V6 and two V8 engines and can tow up to 10,600-pounds. Consumer Reports also gave it a four out of five reliability rating, which is pretty hard to argue with.

It’s hard to go wrong with the 2009 Toyota Tacoma, says KBB

The Tacoma has been a favorite for quite some time and, according to Consumer Reports, the 2009 model earned a five out of five reliability rating.

The 2010 Ford Ranger is one of the best used trucks under $10,000

Sure, Ford recently reintroduced the Ford Ranger. But if you’re looking to buy a used truck under $10,000? Kelley Blue Book says that the 2010 Ford Ranger is one the best. It was available in both regular and extended-cab body styles and came driven by either a four or six-cylinder engine. According to Consumer Reports, it’s fairly reliable too.

According to Consumer Reports, the 2009 model is extremely reliable. It even earned a perfect score.

Unfortunately, unlike other pickups on the list, Consumer Reports didn’t give the 2009 Chevy Silverado the most impressive reliability ratings. In fact, Consumer Reports gave it only a three out of five reliability rating.
