You shouldn’t go into the Rogue expecting an engaging drive. But that’s not really the point. This is meant to be a family vehicle, so the ride is focused on being comfortable and compliant.

And if you are after a compact SUV, that is something that you probably want to hear. Depending on the trim and configuration, a used 2020 Rogue will likely cost between $20,000 and $30,000. This should make it fairly affordable for folks who need a budget-friendly SUV. 

MotorTrend does agree that the driving dynamics of the Rogue are not great. But that’s really not the point of this vehicle. If Nissan was pushing it as a sporty SUV, it might be a deal breaker, but the 2020 Rogue is not pretending to be something it’s not.

The Nissan Rogue is often one of the brand’s top sellers. Because it is affordable and practical, it can easily fulfill various automotive roles. If you are looking for a 2020 Rogue, the SV trim might be the best package to get. 

It is the middle of the road for the Rogue, and you can get it with AWD. Other benefits of the Rogue SV are its heated seats and a motion-activated liftgate. Both of those things make for a pretty convenient SUV. Especially if you live in a colder climate or plan to use your vehicle’s cargo area often. 

Of course, the Rogue is not right for everyone. But if you want a cheaper SUV, it could be a vehicle that satisfies your needs. Plus, you will not have to pay for the cost of a new vehicle, keeping you from having to break the bank or stretch your budget too far.
