The Jeep Grand Cherokee is one of the most popular SUVs from the automaker. This is despite it not always being the most reliable option, as every vehicle has its share of problems. However, some Jeep Grand Cherokee model years are much better than others and offer a primarily headache-free experience. Luckily, many of the best model years of the Jeep SUV are old enough to be affordable for a used SUV.

The 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee is another of the best from the lineup. This is the case not only for typical reasons such as performance or reliability but also because it’s one of the most luxurious in the vehicle’s history. This is especially true for the Summit trim with its ultra-stylish interior and comfortable seats. Of course, buyers can’t configure used vehicles, but it’s easy to find a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee with top-of-the-line features such as rain-sensing windshield wipers, a full leather interior, and heated seats.

The 2017 Grand Cherokee also has good reliability ratings. The SUV has an 80 out of 100 predicted reliability rating from J.D. Power. 2010

The 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee has a 74 out of 100 predicted reliability score from J.D. Power, which is considered average. Still, according to reports, the vehicle should last about 250,000 miles without significant problems.
