Used full-size pickup trucks are an excellent investment, especially if you need to do some serious towing or off-roading. Plus, they have plenty of space for any outdoor toys or tools you need to bring along for the ride. They also tend to be more affordable than financing a brand-new one. However, you may be wondering which model is worth buying.

1. The Toyota Tundra

The first truck to make the iSeeCars list is a fan favorite, the Toyota Tundra. It received a redesign for the 2022 model year and now comes equipped with a turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 engine. Need more power? The available 5.7-liter V8 engine has a towing capacity of 10,200 lbs equipped appropriately. Plus, you’ll always be protected with the latest safety technologies, like forward collision warning, pedestrian detection, and lane departure warning.

2. The Ford F-150

Next up is America’s favorite pickup truck, the Ford F-150. There are six different powertrains and seven trim levels to choose from. In other words, there’s an F-150 that can tackle any task. The entry-level engine is a 290-hp 3.3-liter V6 that generates 265 lb-ft of torque. There is also the available twin-turbocharged 430-hp 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 with an electric motor. When properly equipped, this truck can tow 14,000 lbs.

3. The Chevrolet Silverado 1500

The Chevrolet Silverado 1500 has a towing capacity of 13,300 lbs and a max payload of 2,280 lbs. Under the hood, you will find the standard 4.3-liter V6 engine – but there are four other engines to choose from, including the 6.2-liter V8 option. The base engine is excellent for city driving, but if you need more power, you’ll want to upgrade to a turbocharged one.

4. The GMC Sierra 1500

The fourth truck on the list is the GMC Sierra 1500. It offers the same engine choices as the Chevy Silverado but features a more luxury-focused cabin. The Sierra 1500 also offers a Denali version equipped with wireless phone charging, rear cross-traffic alert, blind spot monitoring, and an innovative infotainment system.

5. The Ram 1500

Ram 1500 trucks are known for their attractive styling from the inside out. The interior is loaded with high-quality features and soft-touch materials.
