With only a handful of options on the market, buyers only have a small selection to chose from, but that doesn’t always make picking a car out any easier. In fact, the variety of luxury electric SUVs on the market might be small, but that doesn’t mean they don’t pose some stiff competition.

It received the #1 spot on the Edmunds list for electric luxury SUVs, and although it “isn’t the fastest or most affordable option,” according to the site, but it balances out well with an incredibly soft and modern interior that sets new standards for what we can expect from the brand as it sets sights toward a more electric future.

Tesla Model Y Performance

The Tesla Model Y has been a fan favorite among electric car enthusiasts, partially because of the Tesla brand itself. Along with all of the great Easter Eggs hidden throughout the car for owners to find, enjoy, and show off, the Model Y Performance also offers sleek and modern luxury with a surprising amount of performance.

Overall, there aren’t a ton of options for electric luxury SUVs on the market, but that doesn’t mean that we should lower our expectations. Instead, it means that the few options we have need to be good in order to attract buyers to a relatively new section of the automotive market, and with these three options highly rated by Edmunds, buying an electric luxury SUV seems more appealing than ever.
