Recently, one woman took to social media to share her response to her beloved Lexus SUV being called a “glorified Toyota.”

Let’s face it- most of the best cars and SUVs to buy are expensive. Because of this, it’s important not to judge people based on what they buy. This is especially true when they were able to find a stellar deal. Recently, Tall_lioness64 took to TikTok to share how someone disrespected her beloved Lexus SUV. The 60-year-old fitness instructor began by saying that she doesn’t let much bother her. She then said she ran into an acquaintance who noticed her Lexus and said it was nothing more than a glorified Toyota. 

The lady went on and said that she was far too classy to fire back at the acquaintance. However, the comment did bother her. Still, she admits to knowing Toyota owns Lexus and that they share engines. The fitness instructor went on to say that she had named the car “Sexy Lexi” and that she bought it during the pandemic for zero percent interest. Additionally, she only has another 12 months before it’s paid off, which is an accomplishment, especially for what many call one of the best cars or SUVs to buy. Specifically, her car is a 2021 Lexus RX 350. 

The fitness instructor continued by revealing why she decided on the Lexus RX. She wanted a vehicle that would outlast her, and she felt this SUV would do just that. In the end, she also says that she wanted something spacious. She held firm that she took offense to the other woman trying to “downplay” her beloved Lexus RX. Many people downplay Lexus because of its ties to Toyota. However, there’s no denying that it makes some of the best luxury cars to buy.
