Additionally, this version offers a base towing capacity of 5,000 lbs. But with certain truck configurations with the V6, the F-150 XL can handle towing of up to 8,200 lbs. Better yet, this truck can handle a serious payload. Which is something that is sure to be appreciated.

Should you buy the base 2022 Ford F-150?

The Ford F-150 XL makes for an ideal work truck or something for someone shopping for a more old-school truck experience. In terms of full-size trucks, the other option that is available is the 2022 Ram 1500 Classic. Another truck that is focused on the basics of what makes a full-size truck great. The MSRP of this truck is $29,515, which makes it slightly cheaper than the Ford.
