The 2023 Ford F-150 is on its way. It’s slated to appear sometime in the summer of 2022, but you may be able to place an order for the new truck sooner. If you’ve begun researching exactly which 2023 Ford F-159 you’ll buy, you’ll be happy to know that you have eight options. Each of these trim levels offers something different for the new Ford F-150, meaning you have lots of ways to customize it just how you want it.

As an added bonus, Ford will be offering a hybrid powertrain in its newest F-150 pickup. This consists of a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V-6 that can put out 400 hp. It’s powered by a 35 kWh battery and matched to a 10-speed automatic transmission. Ford says that this hybrid powertrain will allow the F-150 to go up to an incredible 700 miles

1. The 2023 Ford F-150 XL is the base model

The cheapest 2023 Ford F-150 you can buy is the XL and it will cost you about $32,000. Of course this (and all) 2023 F-150 trim level is an estimate by Car and Driver, as Ford hasn’t officially released any 2023 F-150 pricing yet. 

2. The off-road Rattler is new

Ford is adding its Rattler trim level to the 2023 Ford F-150 lineup. It’s price will start at $40,000. The Rattler trim for the 2023 Ford F-150 will include 18-inch wheels and a dual exhaust. Since it’s an off-road pickup, it will also have hill-descent control, rear kicking differential, and a suspension built for off-road.

3. The XLT will cost you just over $40,000

Next up the 2023 Ford F-150 ladder is the XLT. It’s price is likely to start somewhere around $42,000. 

4. Next up is the popular Lariat

The Lariat trim level is always especially popular with F-150 customers, and that isn’t likely to change with the 2023 model. It’s price is estimated to start at about $51,000. 

5. The Tremor is a more expensive off-road beast

If you’d like a little more than the Rattler has to offer, you just might be interested in the 2023 Ford F-150 Tremor. It starts at around $54,000. 

6. The King Ranch

The price of the 2023 Ford F-150 King Ranch is probably going to come in around $61,000. 

7. The Platinum trim level takes things up a notch

The 2023 Ford F-150 Platinum is a nicer version of the F-150. At $64,000, it isn’t quite the most expensive Ford truck you can buy, which just might make it a perfect option if you’d like something nice but also want to save a little cash. 

8. The Limited is the most expensive trim 

If you want something super nice – and you’re willing to pay for it – you might love the 2023 Ford F-150 Limited. It comes in at $78,000, making it by far the most expensive new Ford truck trim level.
