The Chrysler 300 is an affordable used luxury sedan alternative to the Dodge Charger. The large, comfortable Chrysler sedan doesn’t pack the supercharged V8 power of the Charger SRT Hellcat, but the 300S’ Pentastar V6 produces 300 horsepower, which is more than enough for satisfying acceleration. Furthermore, the 300S has an optional 363-horsepower 5.7L V8, not unlike the V8-powered Charger R/T.

Better still, the 300 offers optional all-wheel drive (AWD) for V6-equipped trims and a range-topping special edition 2023 Chrysler 300C. The 300C packs a 6.4L V8 with 485 horsepower, making it a solid alternative to a Dodge Charger R/T Scat Pack. However, if you want a used, affordable luxury car, you can get a 2021 300 Touring for around $31,529.

Is Toyota Avalon considered a luxury sedan?

The Toyota Avalon, like the Chrysler 300, is an affordable luxury car headed to discontinuation. Toyota’s large sedan offers hybrid fuel economy, like the 2019 Avalon Hybrid XLE. The Hybrid XLE manages 43 mpg city and 44 mpg at highway speeds, much better than a comparable V6-powered Dodge Charger SXT. For instance, Kelley Blue Book (KBB) says savvy shoppers can find a used 2021 Genesis G70 2.0T for around $32,405. For that average purchase value, potential owners can expect a luxury alternative to the Dodge Charger with available AWD and a 5-year, 60,000-mile factory warranty. Moreover, with options like a hands-free trunk lid, heated seats, and Apple CarPlay connectivity, the Genesis G70 is a comfortable rival for the large Dodge.

Is the Volvo S90 a used luxury sedan alternative to the Dodge Charger?

While a used Volvo S90 might require potential owners to stretch their budgets a bit, the stylish Scandanavian luxury car is worth consideration. First, the S90 features a posh interior with distinctive styling, more so than the Charger’s aging cockpit. Also, a new 2023 Volvo S90 starts at as much as a Dodge Charger R/T Scat Pack Widebody, but a used option could save you money. For instance, a 2021 Volvo S90 T6 Momentum with average mileage has a fair purchase price of around $42,868.

Which BMW 5 Series is a good used luxury car?

The 2023 BMW 5 Series starts at around $55,795. However, KBB says savvy shoppers can find a 2020 BMW 530i for about $36,349. That makes a used 5 Series a solid and refined used luxury sedan alternative to the Dodge Charger. Better yet, the 530i’s 2.0L inline four-cylinder engine returns around 25 mpg city and 33 mpg highway, better than the most economical Chargers in Dodge’s lineup.
