Jeep took the proverbial full-size SUV ball from the rest of the market and ran home with it in 2022. The new Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer models came to take as much market share as possible in the full-size SUV and luxury full-size SUV segments. Strangely, these two models are the same size, which makes us wonder what the differences are between these two big Jeep SUVs.

What are the main differences between the Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer?

Some of the main differences we’ll cover for these two full-size SUVs are:

The Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer are the same size, but they have some styling differences. As Car and Driver shows, the Grand Wagoneer is more opulent with a bolder design theme. When looking at this SUV, you’ll see:

  • A bolder grille design
  • Chrome trim around the windows
  • A black-painted roof
  • Copper-colored tinted windows
  • Premium LED lighting that does a welcome dance when the remote start is activated

The Jeep Wagoneer doesn’t have any of these elements.

Audiophiles love the sound system in the Jeep Grand Wagoneer

Jeep went all-in for the sound quality and experience in the Grand Wagoneer. This SUV includes a McIntosh 23-speaker/950-watt audio system. This package bathes you in amazing sound quality while also showcasing the receiver status on the infotainment system.

The audio system in the Jeep Wagoneer is no slouch. The standard system is an Alpine 9-speaker system, which sounds great. If you want more speakers and better sound quality, a McIntosh 19-speaker audio system is available for the Wagoneer.
