Some automotive brands are notably more reliable than others. The majority of the longest-lasting cars are trucks and SUVs. Plus, the top five vehicles that are the most likely to surpass 250,000 miles come from the same automaker.

What are the five longest-lasting cars?

The top five longest-lasting cars that are most likely to reach 250,000 miles or more each come from Toyota. This may not come as a surprise as the auto brand has a reputation for reliability.

According to iSeeCars, the vehicles you can count on the most for the long run are the Toyota Tundra, Toyota Sequoia, Toyota 4Runner, Toyota Tacoma, and Toyota Highlander Hybrid.

To determine the longest-lasting cars, iSeeCars analyzed over 402 million vehicles to determine which models were most likely to reach at least 250,000 miles. It proves that vehicles are becoming more reliable as the list grows to 30 cars this year.

The Toyota Tundra is the reliability king with a 36.7% chance to reach or surpass 250,000 miles. It is 4.2 times more likely to make it to 250,000 miles than the average vehicle.

Of course, the Toyota Sequoia isn’t far behind as it’s based on the Tundra. It has a 36.4% chance of reaching over 250,000 miles. It’s also 4.2 times more likely to survive than the average car.
