1. 2024 Buick Electra futuristic vehicle

The 2024 Buick Electra SUV will be the company’s first all-electric SUV. The most futuristic vehicle aspects of the prototype are massive butterfly doors and a curving glass roof. Whether these will make it to production remains to be seen. Many details are still under wraps, but Car and Driver predict standard all-wheel drive, two electric motors, and a full-charge range of about 300 miles.

There’s no information on when the 2024 Buick Electra will go into production. The estimated MSRP will likely be $50,000 for the Preferred model, $60,000 for Essence, and $70,000 for Avenir.

2. 2024 Toyota bZ5X

Toyota is going all-in with electric vehicles. The 2024 Toyota bZ5X is the company’s first serious offering. With three rows of seating, it’s the EV counterpart to the Toyota Highlander, with an expected dual-motor all-wheel drive. Although no details on the powertrain have been released, Car and Driver is expecting solid-state batteries instead of lithium-ion batteries and an electric drivetrain.

The 2024 bZ5X has a futuristically angled front fascia with slit headlamps. The black hood has a unique bulge echoed in the curved roofline. XLE models will have an estimated MSRP of $50,000 and Limited models of $55,000. It should go on sale for the 2024 model year.

3. Polestar 5 futuristic vehicle

The Polestar 5 is poised for the future as a sleek teardrop-shaped 4-door sedan. It is a luxury electric performance vehicle made chiefly from sustainable and recycled composites. The Verve reports that it will possibly be powered by the same 78kWh battery pack in the Polestar 2, which allows for a range of 291 miles. That electric motor delivers 408 hp, sending the car from 0 to 60 in less than five seconds.

Plans for the modern car include deep integration of Google’s Android Automotive system. It will recognize the driver and launch preset applications and settings automatically. Google Assistant will obey voice commands delivered from the cockpit.

4. 2024 Aston Martin Vanquish

Expected to be released in 2024, the new Aston Martin Vanquish is one of the few hybrid vehicles on the list. According to Car and Driver, the Vanquish will be powered by a V6 hybrid engine, with an estimated starting MSRP of around $300,000. It sports a futuristic vehicle profile, hugging the ground with sleek curves and a bonded aluminum spaceframe.

The engine is predicted to deliver the same 700 hp as the Valkyrie and Valhalla, and is now positioned behind the driver. This will compete with hypercars like the Ferrari F8 Tributo and the McLaren 720S.

5. 2023 BMW XM futuristic vehicle

Expected in 2023, the BMW XM is another hybrid powertrain, combining an electric motor with a 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine. The combo will deliver 750 hp and is predicted to accelerate 0-60 in just 3.1 seconds. The exterior is more chiseled and angled than an average SUV, with two massive air intake vents in front.

The modern design of the 2023 BMW XM continues inside with a gigantic curved digital display that encompasses the entire dashboard. BMW will consider this their flagship SUV model, and the price reflects that. The expected starting MSRP will be $100,000.
