When Ford unveiled the 2018 Ford Mustang with its revised styling, they did so with a manual and an automatic transmission option. With the Getrag-sourced MT82 six-speed manual, the Mustang GT was quick. However, the 2018 Ford Mustang GT with the 10-speed automatic is an Olympic sprinter. The 2018 Mustang GT hit 60 mph in just 3.9 seconds, making it one of the fastest used muscle cars under $30,000 with average mileage.

Chevrolet claimed that the 2017 Camaro SS would hit 60 mph in just 4.0 seconds. Better yet, Kelley Blue Book (KBB) says a 2017 Camaro SS coupe with average mileage has a fair value of around $29,373.

How much is a 2012 Shelby GT500?

It’s never a surprise that a Mustang wearing a “Shelby” badge is swift. However, the 2012 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 isn’t just fast; it’s a great value. According to KBB, the 2012 Shelby GT500 has a typical listing price of around $29,018. Better yet, less than $30,000 buys a supercharged muscle car with 550 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque; it’s fast enough to hit 60 mph in just 4.1 seconds and clear the quarter mile in 12.4 seconds at 115.8 mph. 

How much is a 2016 Challenger Scat Pack?

A new 2022 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack starts at around $47,440. However, a 2016 Challenger Scat Pack, with the same 485-horsepower 6.4L V8 mill as the latest models, is more of a bargain. KBB puts a 2016 model with average mileage at around $25,042. Moreover, the brutish Mopar can hit 60 mph in about 4.2 seconds, should you launch it without destroying your tires.
