We’re driving the 2022 Mercedes-Benz C 300 this week and have been blown away by it thus far. Its exquisite looks inside and out show why it’s one of the nicest entry-level luxury sedans you can buy. Our tester is the Pinnacle trim level, which has more features than most drivers would use on a daily basis. Here are five of our favorites.

1. The 2022 Mercedes-Benz C 300’s PARKTRONIC system makes parallel parking easy

One of the options that our 2022 Mercedes-Benz C 300 is equipped with is the PARKTRONIC park assist system. It basically parallel parks and backs into parking spots for you via its onboard sensors and steering controls.

All you have to do is push a “P” button on the infotainment system, slowly drive along a row of cars, and when the C-Class finds a spot big enough, you can sit back and watch the magic happen. When it comes time to pull out of the spot, the system can do that for you as well.

2. The Mercedes-Benz C 300’s interior lighting is awesomely futuristic

Another option on the Mercedes C 300’s list is the ambient lighting package. This package allows the driver to select the ambient LED lighting that shows up throughout the car’s dashboard and door panels. The color ranges all over the spectrum, and there are even multi-color choices on the menu. No matter which color you choose, it sure looks awesome at night.

3. We love the car’s premium Burmester sound system

We’re suckers for premium sound systems. So when we noticed that the 2022 C 300 was equipped with the Burmester surround system, we smiled from ear to ear. This sound system consists of 15 speakers and delivers 710 watts of 3D sound. Let’s just say that it makes the car sound like a movie theater, and you don’t need too much volume to hear every song clearly.

4. The 11.9-inch infotainment screen and voice commands

“Hey Mercedes! I’m cold.” That’s right, you can talk to the MBUX infotainment system easily and naturally, and it will listen to your commands (nearly) every time. Speaking of the infotainment system, we love the 11.9-inch touchscreen. It’s easy to see and provides a user-friendly experience when poking around at the different menus.

5. The power-activated trunk and folding rear seat back are a nice touch

We know, power trunks and folding rear seats have been around forever. But we didn’t expect the Mercedes-Benz C-Class to have one. The trunk quickly and quietly folds up and down, and there are even switches in the trunk to fold down the rear seat backs. They seem pointless until you really need to use them.

Our favorite 2022 Mercedes-Benz C 300 features

There’s a lot to like about the new 2022 Mercedes-Benz C 300, and the features mentioned here are only a few of the many offered on this sedan. The C 300 is comfortable and classy, and with these new updates, it’s super futuristic, and we’re here for it.
