1. 2023 Audi A5

MotorTrend also listed the 2023 A5 as the top pick on its list. The MSRP for this model is $44,600 to $64,000. With its strong fuel economy and usable cargo space, this vehicle is available as a two-door coupe, a drop-top cabriolet, or hatch-equipped hatchback

The A5 Sportback earned a 2022 IIHS Top Safety Pick with the upgraded headlights on the Premium Plus, Prestige trims, and NHTSA five-star overall safety rating.  As for performance, the A5 has a 3.0-liter single-turbo V6 that produces 349 hp and will get you from 0 to 60 mph in 4.3 seconds.

2. 2023 Audi A6

With an MSRP range of $56,900 to $73,400, some of the best qualities of the Audi A6 are the super quiet cabin and the quality of materials used. The A6 comes in a wide variety of engine sizes. 

The A6 45 TFSI comes with a 2.0-liter turbocharged I-4 that delivers 248 hp and 0 to 60 mph in 5.8 seconds. If you are looking for more thrills, the RS6 Avant comes with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 that delivers 591 hp and 0 to 60 mph in 3.1 seconds. 

3. 2023 Audi A7

The number one luxury midsize fastback in the Audi lineup is the A7. The A7 has an MSRP range of $70,200 to $79,350. It has tons of cargo space and a wide range of options for the powertrain.

The A7’s two performance models use an eight-speed conventional automatic transmission, while the basic engine is paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

The A7 55 TFSI offers a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 that creates 335 hp and will go from 0 to 60 mph in 4.9 seconds. The RS7 is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 that generates 591 hp and 0 to 60 in 3.5 seconds.

4. 2023 Audi Q8

The Audi Q8 has an MSRP range of $72,800 to $125,800, it is one of the more expensive Audis on the list. Each Q8 model incorporates a 48-volt mild hybrid system and an eight-speed automatic transmission along with Audi’s Quattro all-wheel drive system. The 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 standard engine for the 55 TFSI delivers 335 hp. This Q8 can reach 60 mph from 0 in 5.7 seconds.

The RS Q8 model comes equipped with a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 making 591 hp, taking you from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.4 seconds. 

In the future, Audi promised that starting in 2026, all of its vehicles would be electric, with combustion engines being phased out by 2033. It will convert all of its remaining production facilities to produce electric vehicles by 2029 in order to facilitate the transition and increase its ability to compete in the new EV age.
