3 Reasons Why the Ram 1500 Is the Most Satisfying Pickup Truck
The results are in, and they can’t be ignored. The Ram 1500 makes pickup truck owners happier than any other model. The Ford F-150, Toyota Tundra, and Chevy Silverado 1500 just can’t get on the same level as the 2022 Ram 1500 in terms of satisfaction.
The 2022 Ram 1500 is the most satisfying truck

Do you know what would be a terrible theme song for the 2022 Ram 1500? I Can’t Get No Satisfaction by the Rolling Stones. While that song is great, it just doesn’t fit the Ram truck’s vibes as the most satisfying truck.
This is the second year in a row that the Ram 1500 has earned the eNVy award as the most satisfying light-duty truck. InMoment uses surveys to determine the winners of the eNVY awards to determine which vehicles best deliver on buyers’ expectations.
Each vehicle is evaluated based on comfort, quality, performance, safety, and ownership cost. Once again, the Ram light-duty truck surpassed the competition by providing drivers with more.
1. The Ram 1500 is comfortable
For the past few years, rivals can’t catch up to the 2022 Ram 1500 in terms of comfort. It was the first to ditch leaf springs for a coil-spring rear suspension. As a result, it doesn’t ride as rough as its competitors.
Road imperfections are absorbed with ease, and the cabin is peacefully quiet. But you can hear the engine rumble at times.
The front seats are spacious and well-padded, while the rear seats have a comfortable backrest angle. They can even recline. Plus, the climate-control system is quick and effective with optional vents in the rear.
2. Ram trucks are tough
The 2022 Ram 1500 can tow up to 12,750 lbs and carry a payload of up to 2,300 lbs to get the job done. While the Ford F-150 can tow up to 14,000 lbs, it doesn’t come with the same level of daily driving comfort.
The 3.0-liter V6 Ram 1500 diesel engine pumps out 260 hp and 480 lb-ft of torque, making it the most powerful light-duty diesel truck. It gets an EPA-estimated 23 mpg in the city and up to 33 mpg on the highway. Also, it can go up to 1,000 miles between fill-ups.
Other options include the 3.6-liter V6 engine with 305 hp and 269 lb-ft of torque. You can upgrade to the 5.7-liter V8 for 395 hp and 410 lb-ft of torque. The 6.2-liter HEMI V8 with 702 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque is reserved for the Ram 1500 TRX.
3. The tech is epic

The 2022 Ram 1500 has a standard 8.4-inch touchscreen that can be upgraded to a 12.0-inch unit. This Ram truck was actually the first option to introduce a massive touchscreen before rivals followed suit.
Both the digital cluster display and Uconnect system has attractive graphics and fast response times with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, navigation, and the 4G Wi-Fi hotspot. Plus, the USB and USB-C ports provide ultra-fast charging.
Use the optional digital rearview mirrors as a digital display while backing up and listen to your favorite tunes with the 19-speaker Harman Kardon Premium audio system.
The Ram truck is a well-rounded truck that provides drivers with more. Rivals have been trying to catch up for years, but they fall short in a few satisfying areas.
