The 2022 Chevy Suburban may not be a steal, but it isn’t more expensive than other large SUVs. The new Chevy Suburban price starts at $54,700 for the base model LS. The 2022 Chevy Suburban LT is the next trim level up and it starts at $62,495. 

There’s also the 2022 Chevy Suburban RST that starts at $65,695 and a Z71 which starts at $62,495. f you want one of the high-end Suburbans, you have two choices. The 2022 Chevy Suburban Premier starts at $70,495 or the Chevy Suburban High Country which is the most expensive Suburban you can buy. It starts at $77,395

Another good thing about the Chevy Suburban is that it has a powerful engine. Sure, the Suburban is a massive vehicle, and so its engine is pretty necessary to power this enormous beast, but it’s a solid V8. The 2022 Suburban LS comes with a 5.3-liter V8 engine that makes 355 hp and 383 lb-ft of torque. That’s matched to a 10-speed automatic transmission. It also comes with four-wheel drive. There’s also a 6.2-liter V8 engine that makes 420 hp. 

The Suburban is loaded with features

The 2022 Chevy Suburban LS also comes with LED headlights, 18-inch wheels, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Still, you’re not going to be able to sell your Chevy Suburban for anywhere near what you paid for it if you decide to exchange it for something else in a few years. The Suburban only holds 32% of its value after five years.
