Instead of limiting the hybrid engine to top trims of the 2023 F-150, buyers can get it on most configurations of this full-size truck. You will have to pay extra in order to get it, but even if you just want a work truck, you can benefit from a hybrid powertrain.

On the 2023 F-150 XL, the hybrid engine does add a cost of $4,495. So, it might not be worth it to some shoppers. But over all, it does seem to bring a lot to the table. And that may make it appealing to those who value efficiency and utility. 

Can you buy a 2023 Ford F-150 Hybrid?

Although the Ford Lightning quickly sold out, 2023 F-150 trucks with the hybrid engine are still possible to find. So, you can buy this full-size truck if you really want to. In the current climate, pickup trucks are experiencing serious mark ups. So, that is something you should plan on if you are interested in a hybrid truck. 

Unfortunately, supply chain issues are have a major impact on the automotive industry. And the Blue Oval is not immune to those constraints. 

Although some will undoubtedly question the legitimacy of a hybrid truck, it is clear Ford does not. The brand’s popular small truck, the 2023 Maverick, comes standard with a hybrid powertrain.
