The Toyota RAV4 Prime is the plug-in hybrid version of one of the most popular compact SUV models on the market. The RAV4 Prime combines the RAV4’s comfort, reliability, and ride quality with a hybrid powertrain that is more environmentally friendly. It’ll also save you money on gas.

The Toyota RAV4 gets 28 miles per gallon in the city and 35 miles per gallon on the highway. The RAV4 Prime gets 40 miles per gallon in the city and 38 miles per gallon on the highway. It also has an electric-only range of 42 miles. These 42 miles can be used for an emission-free trip to the grocery store, park, or your favorite local restaurant.

The RAV4 Prime uses a 2.5-liter four-cylinder hybrid engine that makes a combined 302 horsepower. It starts at $38,350.

The 2021 Ford Escape Plug-in Hybrid is shockingly capable

The Ford Escape Plug-in Hybrid is astonishingly efficient. It uses a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 165 horsepower. A 250 horsepower turbocharged option is available with the 2.0L EcoBoost trim.

The 2021 Ford Escape Plug-in Hybrid starts at $33,075. It gets 44 miles per gallon in the city and 37 miles per gallon on the highway. It has an electric-only range of 37 miles. The Escape PHEV’s (plug-in hybrid electric vehicle) gas mileage and range make it one of the best plug-in hybrid SUV options on the market.

The 2022 Lexus NX 450h+ has great electric-only range

The 2022 Lexus NX 450h+ is on a list of vehicles with the longest electric-only range compiled by InsideEVs. The Lexus NX 450h+ makes 302 horsepower using a 2.4-liter hybrid engine and two motors. It also comes standard with all-wheel drive.

The Lexus NX 450h+ is predicted to have a combined gas mileage of 36 miles per gallon. InsideEVs has stated that the NX450h+ will also have 36 miles of electric-only range. A price for the SUV has yet to be determined. While few details have been released, we know for certain that Lexus is bringing the luxury to plug-in hybrid SUVs.
