The GMC Yukon SUV is an old nameplate with all the modern features drivers are looking for. After a recent redesign, the 2023 GMC Yukon interior is customizable and has many options. This year, GMC added the Denali Ultimate trim option for more luxury than ever. At almost $100,000, this sport utility vehicle checks all boxes for comfort, space, and technology.

What are the available 2023 GMC Yukon interior colors?

GMC says three 2023 GMC Yukon interior colors are available: Very Dark Ash Gray, Jet Black, and Light Shale. Each of these also comes with matching interior decor colors. The Very Dark Ask Gray seats are perforated leather with matching Dark Walnut interior decor colors. The Jet Black perforated leather seats come with matching Jet Black interior details, and Light Shale gets matching Teak colors.

There is no cost for any of the colors, but GMC says some combinations might be unavailable due to supply constraints. All colorways also get front bucket seats, but higher trim levels of the 2023 Yukon have upgraded seats.

There are 10 different exterior colors to choose from, but Summit White is the only free option. Onyx Black, Pearl Beige Metallic, Midnight Blue Metallic, and all available Metallic colors are $495. Volcanic Red Tintcoat exterior paint costs $645, and White Frost Tricoat costs $1,095.

How much is the 2023 Yukon Denali Ultimate package?

GMC offers a large number of ways to customize the 2023 Yukon interior, but the $96,755 Denali Ultimate has it all. There are a few trims to choose from, including the SLE, SLT, AT4, Denali, and Denali Ultimate. Starting at $57,400, the base SLE trim seats up to nine passengers. That is one of the highest passenger ratings in the game. The cost goes up to $74,805 for the Denali and $96,755 for the Denali Ultimate.

The interior is comfortable and quiet, especially considering how big its windows are. Edmunds gave the Yukon high marks for the interior, noting there was enough headroom and legroom in all three rows. That makes getting in and out of easy, even for those in the third row. It offers large door openings, a tall roof, and sliding seats add to the features.

The Denali Ultimate takes it to another level. GMC says this is the Denali’s most sophisticated interior ever, thanks to an upgraded Bose 18-speaker Performance Series sound system and 16-way power front seats with massaging features. This version also has exclusive color themes and features like Fractal stitching and authentic wood details.

The Yukon has a lot of storage (as expected)

Even with the base trim, the space behind the third row is 25.5 cubic feet, a 50% improvement over last year’s model. With all the seats folded, storage space increases to 122.9 cubic feet.

Front seat legroom is 44.5 inches, and headroom is 42.3 inches for the base SLE. For the rear seat, 42.0 inches of legroom and 38.9 inches of headroom are still impressive. Those who upgrade to the top-of-the-line Denali Ultimate are rewarded with 44.5 inches of front legroom and 40.4 inches of front headroom. Those numbers are 42.0 and 37.5 inches in the back.

Additionally, the 2023 Yukon can tow up to 8,000 pounds when equipped with four-wheel drive and the available 6.2L engine. That increases slightly to 8,400 pounds with the 5.3L engine and rear-wheel drive. If you remain unconvinced about all the 2023 GMC Yukon has to offer, check out the Yukon’s competition.
