Looking for a fast SUV for your collection? These are some of the fastest used SUVs from 2020 that buyers will enjoy driving. Jeep, Dodge, and Ford know a thing or two about producing powerful sport utility vehicles, and these options are no exception.

Jeep’s 2020 Grand Cherokee Trackhawk is one of the fastest used SUVs

The fastest used SUVs include this Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk

The 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk was the number one pick for a midsize option on Edmunds‘ list of the fastest SUVs. Jeep makes it easy to customize the Grand Cherokee Trackhawk into an off-road beast or a super fast SUV. However, it’ll cost you; this version started at around $88,395. Jeep says the zero to 60 mph time is 3.5 seconds, but Edmunds could only top out at 3.7 seconds during testing. Slower but still pretty impressive. The 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk has 707 hp and 645 lb-ft of torque, enough to impress most people.

Horsepower and Torque: 707 hp @ 6,000 rpm; 645 lb-ft @ 4,800 rpm

Top speed: 180 mph

The Dodge Durango SRT is another one of the fastest used SUVs from 2020

Even though the 2020 Dodge Durango SRT was a bit old then, it still had plenty to offer buyers who wanted a fast SUV. With room for seven and the ability to tow up to 8,700 pounds, the Durango was pretty well-rounded, even if it was old. During testing, the SRT model had a zero to 60 mph time of 4.9 seconds. That is slower than the numbers Dodge put out but good enough. 475 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque, along with a top speed of 180 mph, earn the 2020 Dodge Durango SRT a spot on the list of fastest-used SUVs.

Horsepower and Torque: 475 hp @ 6,000 rpm; 470 lb-ft @ 4,300 rpm

Top speed: 180 mph

Don’t overlook the Ford Expedition Platinum as a quick option

Edmunds chose the 2020 Ford Expedition Platinum as the best large SUV for the year. It can tow up to 9,000 pounds and has plenty of room in the cargo area for whatever you need to bring along. All three rows are big and comfortable enough for adults. The Expedition Platinum adds even more horsepower, bringing it up to 400 hp and 480 lb-ft of torque. With a zero to 60 mph time of 6.4 seconds, there isn’t much to dislike about this fast used SUV. While the 2020 Ford Expedition Platinum started at $75,330 back in the day, you should be able to find one for less now.

Horsepower and Torque: 400 hp @ 5,000 rpm; 480 lb-ft @ 3,250 rpm

Top speed: 120 mph

Skip the Chevrolet Tahoe RST, or don’t skip it

To power the 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe RST, a 6.2-liter V8 with 420 hp gets the job done. Edmunds notes this is technically the 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe Premier with the RST package if you are trying to hunt one down. In just over six seconds, the Tahoe made it to 60 mph. This large SUV can also tow 8,600 pounds and has a top speed of 113 mph. Chevy’s Tahoe is not a bad choice for those looking for fast used SUVs, but not the best option.

Horsepower and Torque: 420 hp @ 5,600 rpm; 460 lb-ft @ 4,100 rpm

Top speed: 113 mph

Overall, these are some of the fastest used SUVs from brands you already know and trust. While these are pretty specific trim levels and packages, you should still be able to find one. If your search in the immediate area doesn’t turn up any hits, try expanding your search. A dealership in a nearby state might have what you are looking for and can ship it your way.
