The Outback Wilderness has a whopping 9.5 inches of ground clearance. This is much more ground clearance than the average SUV. It comes standard with Yokohama Geolandar all-terrain tires as well as a front skid plate. The Outback Wilderness features standard all-wheel drive, dual-function X-Mode terrain settings, and StarTex water-resistant upholstery.

The Subaru Forester Wilderness is trail-ready

The 2022 Subaru Forester Wilderness is smaller than the Outback and more affordable. This model resembles a small SUV more than a wagon. It starts at $33,020. The small SUV uses a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine to make 182 horsepower. It achieves 25 miles per gallon in the city and 28 miles per gallon on the highway.

The Forester Wilderness is great for off-roaders who don’t need as much space as the Outback Wilderness provides. The small off-road SUV shares many traits with the Outback Wilderness including 9.5-inches of ground clearance and all-terrain tires. The Forester Wilderness is ready for adventure. Best of all, it won’t break the bank.

The 2022 Ford Bronco is a fresh new take on a classic off-road SUV

The Ford Bronco reemerged after a long hiatus. The nameplate rose from the dead just as popular as ever before. Unfortunately, the Bronco’s high demand makes it extremely difficult to buy. That being said, its accessibility doesn’t make it any less of a great off-road SUV. Car and Driver gave the Bronco a 9.5/10 overall score.

The 2022 Ford Bronco starts at $30,800. It comes in several different trim levels that offer different degrees of off-roading capability. The small off-road SUV comes with removable doors and a removable top. It comes standard with remote keyless access with push-button start, two 12-volt powerpoints, and a Terrain Management System.

The 2022 Ford Bronco has a whopping 11.6 inches of ground clearance. It embodies the spirit of older Bronco models while bringing its own strengths to the table.
