Today, screens are integral to our daily lives. Whether it’s your phone screen, television screen, or infotainment screen, bigger is almost always better.

Honda is increasing the standard infotainment system screen on several of its nameplates to get with the times. Some automakers offer infotainment screens that are over 12.0 inches. The CR-V’s screen isn’t nearly that large, but it’s getting much closer to the optimal screen size than previous model years.

The new standard CR-V infotainment screen is 7.0 inches. Some upper trim levels will come standard with a 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Finally, the CR-V has a decent-sized infotainment system screen. It’s catching up to its competitors.

Honda produces one of the most competitive small hybrid SUVs. The Honda CR-V Hybrid isn’t as sought after as the RAV4 Hybrid, but it’s certainly in the running.

The 2023 Honda CR-V Hybrid starts at $33,695. According to MotorTrend, it uses a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and two electric motors to make 204 horsepower and 247 lb-ft of torque. Honda has yet to release a gas mileage estimate for the small hybrid SUV.

Honda has produced the best CR-V model thus far based on the small SUV’s configurations and new standard features. Features like standard blind-spot warning and a larger infotainment system are huge for drivers because they change the small SUV’s driving experience. Honda has clearly paid special attention to its hybrid version of the CR-V as well. The new small hybrid SUV has plenty of torque and should be able to compete with some of the best in its vehicle segment.

The Honda CR-V has trailed the popular Toyota RAV4 for years. Models like the Hyundai Tucson and Mazda CX-5 are gunning for the top spot in the small SUV vehicle segment. Honda’s CR-V redesign couldn’t have come at a better time.
