To determine how much it costs to fill up these vehicles, Consumer Reports calculated how much it would cost to fill the tank from zero according to gas prices on April 12, 2022. The national average then was $4.12.

The 2022 Nissan Titan costs $107 to fill up and has a 26 gallon tank. It can make it 416 miles on a single tank of gas. The Titan gets 11 mpg in the city, 22 mpg on the highway, and 16 mpg overall.

What to buy instead: the 2022 Hyundai Santa Cruz SEL Premium

If you love the 2022 Nissan Titan but not its fuel economy, consider the 2022 Hyundai Santa Cruz SEL Premium. This unique pickup truck gets a whopping 24 mpg overall, with 16 mpg in the city and an astonishing 34 mpg on the highway, according to Consumer Reports.

The 2022 Hyundai Santa Cruz can hold up to 17.7 gallons of gas, which means you’ll spend $72.93 to fill up the Santa Cruz. The Santa Cruz can go up to 407 miles on a single tank of gas.

The 2022 Ram 1500 is not one of the best 2022 trucks on gas

The 2022 Ram 1500 is the second-most expensive pickup truck to fill up. It costs $107 for a full tank. The Ram gets an overall 17 mpg, with 11 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway. It has a 26-gallon tank and can go 416 miles on a full tank.

The 2022 Ram 1500 Big Horn Diesel is the fuel-friendly alternative to the regular 2022 Ram 1500. It gets 23 mpg overall, with 16 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway.

The 2022 Chevy Silverado costs just under $100 to fuel

The 2022 Chevy Silverado 1500 costs $99 to fill up and has a fuel tank that can hold up to 24 mpg. It gets 16 mpg overall, including 10 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the highway. The Silverado 1500 can go 384 miles on a full tank of gas.
