The 2026 Honda CR-V adds more standard features

If you like tech, get excited for the 2026 Honda CR-V. It now provides a larger touchscreen, wireless charging pad, and wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto as standard features.

The larger 9.0-inch touchscreen is two inches larger than the outgoing model’s infotainment system. Plus, higher trim levels such as the EX-L, TrailSport, and Sport Touring models gain a 10.2-inch digital instrument display.

The screen is 46% larger than before with user-selectable functions. Plus, the CR-V has Google built-in with a complimentary three-year unlimited data plan. According to Honda News, drivers also get the Honda Sensing suite of safety and driver-assistive technologies.

It includes blind spot warning, collision mitigation braking with pedestrian detection, forward collision warning, road departure mitigation, incorporating lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, and adaptive cruise control.

The Honda CR-V MSRP of $32,315 also includes the turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine with 190 hp and 179 lb-ft of torque. Plus, you get 17-inch wheels, push-button start, and LED headlights.

When properly equipped, the CR-V can tow up to 1,500 lbs. The CR-V Hybrid can tow up to 1,000 lbs. While it’s weak in the towing area, it provides an abundance of passenger and cargo space.

It has 39.3 cubic feet of cargo space behind the second row and up to 76.5 cubes overall. Plus, extra cargo can go on the available roof rack.
