There are six new 2024 Ford Mustang trims to choose from. The Ford website outlines all six, including the EcoBoost Fastback, EcoBoost Premium Fastback, GT Fastback, GT Premium Fastback, Dark Horse, and Dark Horse Premium. Each option comes with its own perks and special features. The EcoBoost Fastback is the base model, with single-zone automatic climate control and a six-speaker stereo system, along with adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, and forward-collision alert with automatic emergency braking. The EcoBoost Premium Fastback offers up exclusive features like a heated steering wheel and climate control split into two zones, while the GT Fastback provides 18-inch wheels and an impressive spoiler.

Shoppers who opt for the GT Premium Fastback will enjoy features similar to the EcoBoost Premium, along with real leather interiors and larger wheels. The Dark Horse is the high-performance Mustang in the lineup, with MagneRide adaptive dampers, heated seats, and standard voice activation for its touchscreen navigation system. Finally, the Dark Horse Premium features fabulous ventilated seats and an impressive security system.

Shoppers are gravitating to the EcoBoost trim

While all of the new 2024 Ford Mustang trims have unique advantages, one particular style stands out to shoppers. According to Edmunds, the standard EcoBoost Fastback is the one that is the most popular so far. While Edmunds doesn’t offer a hierarchy of the other trims and how they stack up, it makes sense that the EcoBoost is the style that shoppers love. This base model has something for everyone, from the premium sound system to the safety features that allow drivers to feel comfortable and secure.

The reliable 4-cylinder engine and spacious seating for four ensure that the EcoBoost Fastback is a solid option for drivers of all needs, from small families to those who want the classic sports car experience at an affordable price.

What else is new with the 2024 Ford Mustang?

There’s a lot to love about the new 2024 Ford Mustang. According to Car and Driver, the EcoBoost trim features an optional Performance Pack equipment upgrade with a front strut-tower brace, larger Brembo brakes, wider wheels and tires, Torsen limited-slip differential, and a MagneRide active-dampening suspension, along with optional Recaro buckets and an active exhaust.

Now in its seventh generation, the Mustang has become one of the most iconic sports cars around. The 2024 model didn’t come to play. In addition to the Performance Pack option, shoppers can opt for a Performance Electronic Parking Brake that looks like a traditional lever-action handbrake and is designed to make it easier for drivers to drift. The engine and transmission are also upgraded, with the EcoBoost Mustang getting a 10-speed automatic transmission. The “fighter-jet” inspired design speaks to pure speed and energy, while the ambient lighting and adjustable driver’s display set the stage for plenty of action and adventure on the open road. Those with a taste for affordable luxury could do worse than the new 2024 Ford Mustang.
