For the 2023 model year, the Corolla Cross aims to build upon its success with a new hybrid model. When will the 2023 Toyota Corolla Cross be available?

The new 2023 Toyota Corolla Cross was released in Fall 2022, while the 2023 Corolla Cross Hybrid arrived in early 2023. Customers can get them at Toyota dealerships throughout the United States and in various international markets.

The Toyota Corolla Cross is built at the new Mazda Toyota Manufacturing plant in Huntsville, Alabama.

How much does the 2023 Toyota Corolla Cross cost?

The 2023 Toyota Corolla Cross crossover SUV has a starting price of $23,610 MSRP. It costs slightly more than the 2022 version, which starts at $22,445 MSRP. Also, the first-ever 2023 Corolla Cross Hybrid starts at $27,970 MSRP.

The 2023 Toyota Corolla Cross offers two powertrain options: a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and a new hybrid powertrain, which combines the 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with three electric motors.

Here is the horsepower output and estimated fuel economy for the two Corolla Cross powertrains:

Gas-powered Corolla Cross: 169 hp; Gas mileage of up to 32 combined mpg
Corolla Cross Hybrid: 194 hp; Gas mileage of up to 42 combined mpg

Not only is the Corolla Cross Hybrid more efficient than the gas-powered model, but it’s also more powerful. That extra power translates to quicker acceleration, for the Corolla Cross Hybrid has a 0-60 mph time of 8.0 seconds, compared to 9.2 seconds for the gas-powered model.

For the drive system, all Corolla Cross Hybrid models come standard with all-wheel drive, while the gas-powered Corolla Cross offers a choice of front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The towing specs for the Corolla Cross Hybrid are not yet available, but the gas-powered Corolla Cross can tow up to 1,500 pounds.

Along with the new hybrid model, the 2023 Toyota Corolla Cross expands the trim lineup with new S, SE, and XSE trims. Also, the 2023 Corolla Cross has a new information system. It features an 8.0-inch touchscreen, as well as wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration, cloud-based navigation, and over-the-air (OTA) updates. Plus, the 2023 Corolla Cross has added USB-C charge ports.
