The 2023 Ram 1500 offers new and improved features and trims not available in previous years. Here’s a simple breakdown of everything new in 2023. In spite of a refreshed 1500 being pushed off until 2024, the upcoming Ram has lots to offer with an assortment of engines, interiors, and packages. Let’s take a look.

Hemi and Pentastar V6 both offer eTorque 48-volt hybrid system

3.6-liter V6 with eTorque-305 hp and 269 lb-ft of torque

5.7-liter V8 with e-Torque-395 hp and 410 lb-ft of torque

3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6-260 hp and 480 lb-ft of torque

6.2-liter Hellcat Supercharged V8-702 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque

New 2023 Ram 1500 trims

Limited Elite Edition

Similar to the 2022 Limited 10th Anniversary Edition features include a multifunction and locking tailgate, tailgate ajar warning, deployable bed step, four adjustable cargo tie-down hooks, bed extender, and cargo divider. 

Interior: Jewel rotary shifter, themed instrument cluster, leather bucket seats, heated/ventilated 12-way driver and front passenger seat, suede headliner, heated steering wheel, bright pedal kit.

Limited Red Edition

Returning for a second year, the new 2023 Red Edition features are UV-C glove box light that engages UV light to begin a three-minute bacteria-killing hygiene cycle. Identification includes a red RAM grille, door badges, and center console badge. 

New 2023 BackCountry and Rebel Off-Road features

22-inch all-terrain tires for Laramie, Limited Longhorn, and Limited models.

Rebel 1500 now has Selec-Speed Control as standard equipment. It is an option for the BackCountry and Off-Road group that includes Big Horn/Lone Star, Laramie, Limited Longhorn, and Limited.

Emergency Vehicle Alert System for 12-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreens, and standard Rear-Seat Reminder Alert.

A new 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster is standard starting with Big Horn/Lone Star models. It comes with 24 menus, and five reconfigurable tiles for quick data or most-used information. There is also a choice between analog or digital instrumentation. The larger screen features split-screen, 360-degree camera views, and SiriusXM hosting 360L and Personalized Stations powered by Pandora. There is also a Know & Go mobile app, cruise control, Forward Collision Warning, Blind-Spot Monitor, and Ready Alert Braking.

Nine single-color paint options and two two-tone options are offered for the 2023 Ram 1500. They are Delmonico Red Pearl PRV, Flame Red PRV, Patriot Blue PPX, Hydro Blue PBJ, Granite Crystal Metallic PAU, Billet Silver Metallic PSE, Diamond Black Crystal Pearl PXJ, Ivory Tri-Coat PWD, and Bright White PW7. Two tones available are Diamond Black Crystal Pearl PXJ on BackCountry, Rebel, and TRX; and Walnut Brown Metallic PUW on Limited Longhorn. 

All 2023 Ram 1500 trims

There are nine Ram 1500 trims offered in 2023 that include Big Horn in six styles, HFE, Laramie in four styles, Limited in four styles, Lone Star in six styles, Longhorn in four styles, Rebel in two styles, and TRX. 

Only Quad Cab and Crew Cab bodies are available, with either a 6.4-inch or 5.7-inch bed. It still doesn’t offer an eight-foot bed as do other truckmakers, and also doesn’t offer a single cab model.
