The 2023 Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek Edition price starts at $44,115. The base-model Pathfinder beings at $36,295. This price represents a $1,735 price increase over the 2022 model.

Also, the prices include the 1,295 destination fee, which went up by $145. This sounds like a lot, but the Rock Creek Edition includes mechanical upgrades. It’s not just an appearance package.

Plus, the price remains competitive with rivals. The 2023 Toyota 4Runner starts at $38,805, while the TRD Off-Road raises the price to $42,650, and the TRD Pro costs $53,270. The Jeep Grand Cherokee L starts at $41,000.

What comes with the Pathfinder Rock Creek Edition?

The 2023 Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek Edition stands out with a unique look. The front and rear bumpers have a bulkier, more aggressive look to bolster confidence. Also, Rock Creek badges sit on the doors and tailgate, and you get a robust roof rack that can hold up to 220 lbs.

This bests rides on black 18-inch machine-finished aluminum-alloy beadlock-style wheels wrapped in Toyo Open Country all-terrain tires. Remember, the wheels only look beadlock capable, but the all-terrain part is real.

According to The Truth About Cars, the Rock Creek Edition features a 0.6-inch lift, increasing the ground clearance to 7.7-inches. This seems a little low, most vehicles for off-roading have over 80 inches of ground clearance.

The standard all-wheel drive system sends half the torque to the rear axle. Plus, a limited-slip differential routes power to the rear tire with the most grip.

Nissan revised the fuel mapping, so the 3.5-liter V6 engine cranks out 295 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque. That’s an additional 11 hp and 11 lb-ft of torque compared to the other models. But you need to use premium fuel to achieve these numbers.

When properly equipped, the Rock Creek Edition can tow up to 6,000 lbs. The driving modes include Mud/Rut, Sand, Snow, Tow, Sport, and Eco. You also get hill descent control and hill start assist.
