The 2023 Kia Carnival has five main trims: LX, LX Seat Package, EX, SX, and SX Prestige. According to Kia, the LX model starts at $32,900, the LX Seat Package at $34,900 the EX at $38,400, the SX at $41,600, and the SX Prestige at $46,000.  When you closely examine the 2023 Kia Carnival, you’ll mistake it for a mid-size SUV, but it’s 100% minivan.

All Carnival models feature an eight-speed automatic transmission and 290-hp 3.5-liter V6 engine. Kia installs many driver assistant features on its standard models, while its premium models have even more advanced tech features.

The upscale SX and SX Prestige Carnival models are the only trims with changes for the 2023 model year. The 2023 Kia Carnival SX Prestige no longer features the standard reclining captain’s chair in its second row but a reconfigurable three-place bench. Meanwhile, the SX trim includes a 12.3-inch infotainment display and a 12.3-inch digital gauge screen.

With the Carnival coming in five trims, including the value-oriented LX to the premium SX Prestige, the EX balances features and price. These features include an in-cabin intercom, a power-run rear liftgate, and a voice control system that permits rear seat passengers to send commands to the vehicle’s infotainment system.

Does the 2023 Kia Carnival have a panoramic sunroof?
