How much does the 2023 Jeep Wagoneer cost?

Stellantis didn’t yet release the price information for the 2023 Jeep Wagoneer. However, the 2023 Wagoneer will likely have a slight price increase over the 2022 Wagoneer. The starting price of the 2022 Wagoneer ranges from $58,995 MSRP for the Series I trim up to $73,995 MSRP for the Series III trim. All 2023 Jeep Wagoneer models feature a new twin-turbocharged inline-six-cylinder engine, which replaces the 5.7-liter V-8 engine in the 2022 Wagoneer. Paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, the twin-turbo engine generates 420 horsepower and 468 lb-ft of torque.

The estimated gas mileage of the 2023 Wagoneer is not yet available. However, one of the reasons why Jeep replaced the V-8 engine is the new twin-turbo inline-six engine is more efficient. With this in mind, the 2023 Wagoner will undoubtedly have a higher fuel economy than the 2022 Wagoneer (up to 16 city/22 highway mpg).

Like the 2022 Wagoneer, the 2023 Wagoneer will have an incredible towing capacity of 10,000 pounds. The Wagoneer is the only SUV that boasts a 10,000-pound towing capacity.

Buyers of the Wagoneer have a choice of a rear-wheel drive system or three variations of a traction-enhancing four-wheel system. However, to unlock the off-road driving capabilities of the Wagoneer, a 4WD system is recommended. Each 4WD system has varying levels of capabilities. The off-road capabilities for the Wagoneer are further enhanced by its adjustable air suspension. Also, the SUV also offers a Selec-Terrain system with selectable drive modes, such as Sand/Mud, Snow, and Rock.

The long-wheelbase 2023 Wagoneer L is larger than the standard Wagoneer model

Along with the new engine, the other major change for the 2023 Wagoneer is the addition of a long-wheelbase L model. The L model is larger than the standard Wagoneer model, with 12 inches added to the SUV’s length and 7.0 inches added to the wheelbase.

As a result of the increased size, the Wagoneer L provides more passenger and cargo space than the standard Wagoneer. This includes:

  • Class-leading total passenger volume of 179.3 cu-ft
  • Class-leading cargo space behind the third row: 44.2 cu-ft

Features in Jeep Wagoneer Carbide appearance package

The 2023 Wagoneer also offers a blacked-out Carbide appearance package. It features black exterior trim detailing, gloss-black wheels, a panoramic tri-pane sunroof, and unique interior trim and upholstery. While Stellantis announced the Carbide appearance package on the same day that it revealed the changes for the 2023 Wagoneer, it’s available for the 2022 Wagoneer too. The automaker stated that the Wagoneer Carbide will be released in Spring 2022.
