Is there a new Honda Accord coming out? The answer is yes, but we don’t have much information other than that at this moment. The new 2023 Honda Accord midsize sedan is in the works and should be arriving sometime later this year. Honda is revealing many new updates in 2022 and 2023, including new hybrids and a new generation of the Civic. Read on for the top five things you need to know about the 2023 Accord.

This article is being updated as new information is released.

5. The 2023 Honda Accord will be redesigned

We don’t know exactly what the new 2023 Accord will look like, but we have high hopes. This new model will be the first 11th-generation Accord, joining the Honda Civic compact sedan. The Civic is also stepping into its 11th generation. There have been a few spy photos shared—as you can see in the above tweet—but things are being kept figuratively and literally under wraps.

Estimates by Edmunds say that the 2023 Accord will offer its usual lineup of trim levels. You’ll likely be able to shop for a 2023 Accord LX, Sport, EX-L, and Touring model, as well as a full line of new Accord Hybrid sedans. Edmunds believes that Honda’s redesigned midsize sedan will take a lot of cues from the redesigned Civic.

As always, the 2023 Accord will likely offer a premium interior and tons of trunk space.

4. The all-new 2023 Accord will likely start around $28,000

How much is a 2023 Honda Accord? Until Honda tells us itself, we won’t know for sure. But, we can estimate that the newest Accord sedan will cost about the same, or slightly more, than the current model year. At this time, we’re not anticipating a huge spike in price for the 2023 Accord.

The current best-selling Accord sedan starts at $26,120. It wouldn’t be surprising to see that number rise because of inflation, supply chain issues, and the costs that come with fully redesigning a car. Base 2023 models will likely cost around $28,000 to start, with fully loaded Accord models coming in closer to $38,000 or more.

3. The new Honda Accord will likely be released in the fall

It’s rare for an automaker to not release a year-branded model in the preceding year—for example, a 2023 model in 2022, a 2024 model in 2023, etc. So it’s very likely that we’ll see the new 2023 Honda Accord released in the late fall of this year.

If Honda is just keeping quiet until it has all of its ducks in a row, it may release the 2023 Accord sooner after its announced. However, we’re also still waiting on an official announcement.

2. The 2023 Honda Accord’s interior will be plush and premium for the price

One thing you can always count on from the Accord is a really nice cabin. The 2023 Honda Accord interior should follow in the footsteps of the tenth-generation sedan. Expect to see a relatively well-equipped cabin in the base Accord LX and premium features, like leather seats, in higher trim levels like the 2023 Accord Touring.

“As for major interior updates, the next Accord will likely crib buttons, knobs and switches from the Civic. The dashboard will have a more linear design, the instrument cluster in front of the driver will feature new tech, and other niceties like the Bose sound system will likely be available on higher trims. We also expect adjustments to the Accord’s interior dimensions for a bit more room inside.”

1. The new Accord will likely come with Honda ServicePass

According to Honda, most (or all) of its new 2023 cars will come with the new Honda ServicePass free maintenance plan. This service plan provides the buyer with two years or 24,000 miles of select complementary services if completed at a qualifying Honda dealership. It’s not quite as exciting as it sounds. Honda ServicePass will only cover oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections for the 2023 Honda Accord.

There’s also a possibility that this new plan will jack up the price of the 2023 Accord like it did with the 2023 Oddysey—which you can read about below.

When will the 2023 Honda Accord come out? We’re just sitting and waiting at this point.
