The 2023 Ford F-150 has wireless Android Auto

The 2023 Ford F-150 comes equipped with numerous tech features. However, Android fans will be happy to know they can use wireless Android Auto in the new truck. According to Ford, all 2023 Ford F-150 trims have wireless Android Auto integration as part of the Sync 4 infotainment system. In addition to wireless Android Auto, all models above the standard XL have Sync 4 with voice control.

For the uninitiated: Android Auto connects an Android phone to a car’s infotainment system through a USB cable or Wi-Fi. Google Assistant on Android helps drivers play their favorite songs, get directions, check the weather, and make calls hands-free.

In addition, the company is updating Android Auto to feature a split-screen mode for cars, Android Central reports. The new user interface will help drivers utilize multiple apps without having to toggle between them.

What other tech features can you expect in the new F-150?

In addition to including wireless Android Auto, the 2023 Ford F-150 is stacked with useful infotainment features. Thanks to Sync 4, the truck also has wireless Apple CarPlay. CarPlay is Apple’s version of Android Auto that enables iPhone users to connect compatible smartphones to their vehicle’s infotainment system.

The 2023 Ford F-150 also has optional FordPass Connect with a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot. This feature ensures cloud connectivity capabilities, standard with Sync 4.

Overall, the 2023 Ford F-150 provides numerous communications and entertainment features thanks to the Sync 4 system.
