Good Housekeeping loves the 2023 F-150 Lightning

Sedans and SUVs are typically considered to be the perfect family vehicle, but for some consumers, trucks are the way to go. More families are turning to EVs, which is why the 2023 F-150 Lightning ranked so high on Good Housekeeping’s list of Best Family Cars.

It’s not for large families, as it only seats five, but for those who have this magical number, you should keep it in mind when car shopping. This is because the 2023 F-150 Lightning has a lot of features that make it stand out.

Good Housekeeping really loved the fact that it has a wide bed, which makes it perfect for using to work, play, or just pack up before heading to the beach. The battery can also act as a generator, so if the power goes out, you can simply crank up your F-150 Lightning, and let it act as a generator for your house. You can also use it to charge up your camping gear which requires power.

For family members who are concerned about safety, Ford was happy to oblige with a wide range of features. These include pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking, collision warning, lane-keeping aid and alert, auto high beams, reverse sensing, and more. For anyone who knows how distracting small children can be, these features could save you from a potential crash.
