Massive trucks and SUVs shouldn’t be surprising with the amount of gigantic rides available. However, when we saw the 2023 Ford Bronco Raptor, we had to do a double-take. The Ford Bronco Raptor makes all the vehicles around it look tiny.

There have been spy photos of the 2023 Ford Bronco Raptor floating around, and it doesn’t look small in the images we’ve seen. However, the upcoming Ford Bronco was spotted in traffic, making everything around it look tiny.

The images were posted to the Bronco6x Facebook group, and the Bronco Raptor is seen towering over a Jeep Gladiator. We know that the Gladiator is a midsize truck, but it’s still pretty tall, and the Bronco Raptor dwarfs it.

We’re assuming the Gladiator is stock because the Rubicon or Mojave models have a lift that would help it stand tall against the Bronco. Seeing the Bronco Raptor in traffic helps us understand why Ford CEO Jim Farley says we will need to hold onto our butts with this massive beast.

What to expect with the Bronco Raptor

This might seem a little obvious, but the 2023 Ford Bronco Raptor will be tall. It’s expected to ride on 37-inch BF Goodrich tires, which have been spotted on the back of a few different prototype models. It could also be offered with 35-inch tires.

With the Bronco Sasquatch package, you get 11.6 inches of ground clearance. The Bronco Raptor could have up to 13 inches of ground clearance. While the Bronco Sasquatch’s roof is 74 inches high, the Raptor could surpass 76 inches.

Because the Bronco Raptor was spotted with three amber lights across the grille, it’s rumored to be over 8- inches wide. A law requires the lights to be added on vehicles that exceed that width. Plus, massive fender flares and to the speculation.

We’re still waiting to hear about the potential powertrain options. The most powerful engine for the 2021 model is the 2.7-liter V6 with 310 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque. The Bronco Raptor will need a little more juice.

Perhaps it will gain the same engine as the 2022 Ford Bronco R. It’s possible that it could get the 5.2-liter supercharged V8 engine from the Mustang Shelby GT500 that provides 760 hp and 625 lb-ft of torque.

How much does the Ford Bronco Raptor cost?

The most expensive Bronco trim is currently the Wildtrack, which begins at about $40,475. The 2022 Ford F-150 Raptor starts at around $64,495. So we can guess that the 2023 Ford Bronco Raptor could start between $55,000 to $65,000 based on how much power it has.

But tons of value should be included with the price. The interior could gain the massive 15.5-inch vertical screen from the Ford Mustang Mach-E and a digital gauge cluster. Perhaps a wireless phone charger and ventilated seats will be included.

We might not have to wait much longer to learn more. The Bronco Raptor is coming for 2022. We’ve already seen tons of spy photos and official teasers, so it will be here soon. We will keep you updated as we learn more.
