FWD models have a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT), while the AWD models feature a nine-speed automatic transmission. Also, the Trailblazer has selectable drive modes, including settings for Sport, Snow, Normal, and AWD (if equipped).

On the efficiency front, the 2023 Trailblazer gets an estimated fuel economy of up to 29 city/33 highway mpg. Also, it has a maximum towing capacity of 1,000 pounds.
