2023 Chevy Bolt EUV: Price, Specs, and Features

A series of fires plagued the Chevrolet Bolt EV subcompact hatchback and the Bolt EUV subcompact SUV last year. These fires led to recalls, a temporary halt in production, and rumors that Chevrolet might discontinue the Bolt EV and Bolt EUV. However, these electric vehicles will live to see another day. Chevrolet recently announced the details about the 2023 Bolt EUV, including a new Redline Edition package. When will the 2023 Chevy Bolt EUV be available?

The 2023 Chevy Bolt EUV will likely hit roads in late Summer/early Fall 2022. It will be available at Chevrolet dealerships throughout the country and in select international markets. The Chevy Bolt EUV is built at the GM Orion plant in Lake Orion, Michigan.

How much does the 2023 Chevy Bolt EUV cost?

The 2023 Chevrolet Bolt EUV costs less than the 2022 Bolt EUV. It has a starting price of $27,800 MSRP for the LT trim and $32,300 MSRP for the Premier trim. These prices for the 2023 Bolt EUV are a cost reduction of $5,700 for each trim compared to the starting prices of the 2022 model.

The electric powertrain in the 2023 Chevy Bolt EUV is expected to be the same as the one in the 2022 Bolt EUV. It features a 200-hp electric motor and a front-wheel drive system. All-wheel drive is not available for the Bolt EUV. On the efficiency front, the Bolt EUV gets an estimated fuel economy of 115 combined MPGe. 

Compared to many other electric vehicles, the Bolt EUV doesn’t provide very quick acceleration, with a 0-60 mph time of 7.0 seconds. However, that’s quicker acceleration than most gas-powered SUVs. 

With its 65.0-kWh battery pack, the Bolt EUV has an estimated driving range of 247 miles. It also has fast-charging capabilities, with the ability to provide 95 miles of range with a 30-minute charge. 

Features in the 2023 Bolt EUV Redline Edition package

The 2023 Chevy Bolt EUV offers a new Redline Edition package. The Redline Edition package, which is available for both the LT and Premier trims, adds sporty styling to the Bolt EUV.

Notable features in the Redline Edition package include red accent decals on the outside mirror caps, a black and red Bolt EUV badge on the rear hatch, and 17-inch gloss black-painted aluminum wheels with red accents. Inside the cabin, the Redline Edition package features a jet black leather interior with red accent stitching. Available exterior paint color options for the Bolt EUV Redline Edition include Silver Flare Metallic, Mosaic Black Metallic, and Summit White.

The 2023 Bolt EUV will offer Super Cruise hands-free driving assistance technology along with the Redline Edition package. Also, the electric crossover SUV has a new exterior paint color option: Radiant Red Tintcoat.
