The new 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 won’t see too many changes. That’s because it went through a midcycle update this year, with 2024 being the debut of its Silverado EV. Still, there are some new features along with those from last year we’ll review. We’ll cover 2023 Silverado 1500 trims, engine options, technology improvements, and more.

Automatic emergency braking, forward collision alert, lane keep assist, and standard automatic high beams. Super Cruise first became available last year.

2023 Silverado technology 

Last year the Silverado 1500 got a major infotainment update. A 13.4-inch touchscreen system was introduced on the LT, RST, LT Trail Boss, ZR2, LTZ, and High Country. Also included with the update are Google Assistant, Google Maps, and Google Play, plus Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. All of these are also included with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.

2023 Silverado cab and bed options

Chevrolet offers three different cabs and three beds to pair your needs and preferences. These are a single cab, Double/Super Cab, and Crew/SuperCrew Cab. Here are the three bed options:

  • Short bed: 5 feet and 10 inches
  • Standard bed: 6 feet and 7 inches
  • Long bed: 8 feet and 2 inches

Trailering technology

Trailer Sway Control, Hill Start Assist, Trailer Side Blind Zone Alert, and Auto Grade Braking. Chevrolet offers a Trailering App that allows you to set up trailer profiles, pre-departure checklist, trailer tire pressure, and temperature monitoring. This is also 360-degree camera monitoring with eight cameras and 14 camera views available.
