When will the 2023 Buick Envision be available to buy?

According to GM Authority, production was supposed to begin in early April but has been pushed back to August 2022. It will be available to buy at Buick dealerships throughout the United States, as well as in select international markets. The Buick Envision is built at GM’s plant in Shanghai, China. Buick is increasingly becoming more of a global brand, and much of the sales of the Envision and other Buick models are in the Chinese market.

Buick didn’t yet release the price information of the 2023 Envision compact luxury SUV. However, the 2023 Envision will likely cost slightly more than the 2022 Envision. The starting price of the 2022 Envision ranges from $31,500 MSRP for the Preferred trim up to $39,850 MSRP for the Avenir trim.

All 2023 Buick Envision models have a 2.0-liter turbocharged I-4 engine. Mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission, it generates 228 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. With the turbo engine, the Envision has a 0-60 mph acceleration time of 7.3 seconds.

For efficiency, the 2023 Envision has an estimated fuel economy of up to 24 city/31 highway mpg. Also, on the towing front, the compact luxury SUV can tow up to 1,500 pounds. Additionally, buyers of the Envision have a choice of a standard front-wheel drive system or an optional traction-enhancing all-wheel drive system.

Notable technology features in the 2023 Buick Envision include the Buick infotainment system with either an 8.0” or a 10.2” touchscreen, a navigation system, a Wi-Fi hotspot, Amazon Alexa Built-In, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration. Also, the Envision offers many safety-enhancing driving assistance technology features. This includes automatic emergency braking, automatic parking assist, lane keep assist, and a rearview camera.
