On the performance front, the Corolla Cross outmuscles the C-HR. It has a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, which generates 169 hp and 150 lb-ft of torque. In comparison, the 2.0-liter four-cylinder variant in the C-HR produces only 149 hp and 139 lb-ft of torque. However, with its shorter turning diameter (34.2 vs. 35.4 feet), the C-HR is slightly more maneuverable than the Corolla Cross.

For efficiency, the Corolla Cross edges the C-HR. It has an estimated fuel economy of up to 31 city/33 highway mpg, compared to a gas mileage of 27 city/31 highway mpg for the C-HR.

While the pricing information is not yet available for the 2022 C-HR, it likely wonโ€™t differ much from the 2021 C-HR. The starting prices of the 2021 C-HR range from $21,695 for the base LE trim up to $26,750 for the Limited trim.
