The 2022 Model 3 offers a choice of either a single-motor rear-wheel drive system or a dual-motor all-wheel drive system. With the RWD system, the Model 3 can reach a top speed of 140 mph and has a 0-60 mph acceleration time as low as 5.8 seconds. With the AWD system, it can go as fast as 162 mph, with a 0-60 mph time as low as 3.1 seconds. 

In comparison, in the United States, all 2022 Tesla Model Y trims have a dual-motor all-wheel drive system. The top speed of the Model Y ranges between 135-155 mph, and its 0-60 mph time ranges between 3.5-4.8 seconds.
