The Ram full-size truck has been well-received over the last few years despite several model years not being recommended by CR.

The 2022 Ram 1500 comes standard with a rear suspension that utilizes coil springs for the smoothest rides possible. It features a refined cabin. The full-size truck features an 8.4-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Car and Driver gave the 2022 Ram 1500 a 10/10 overall rating. The publication gave its rival, the Ford F-150, a 9/10 overall rating.

The 2012 Ram 1500 had an original MSRP of $21,675. It uses a 3.7-liter V6 engine to produce 215 horsepower. The 2012 model year gets 14 miles per gallon in the city and 20 miles per gallon on the highway.

Even a decade ago, the Ram 1500’s strength was its ability to balance truck utility with the comfort of a family vehicle.
