The 2022 Mazda CX-9 will include many standard features. The new CX-9 comes standard with a Skyactiv-G 2.5 turbo engine that includes manual and sport modes. The engine makes an exhilarating 250 horsepower.

The CX-9 standard model, the Sport includes Off-Road Traction Assist and G-Vectoring Control Plus. These features allow the SUV to have superior handling and traction control.

According to Road Show by CNET, the SUV includes a suite of safety features like rear cross-traffic alert, blind spot monitoring, advanced smart city brake support with pedestrian detection, lane departure warning and lane keep assist.

One of the best standard features that the CX-9 includes is its massive 10.25-inch infotainment system. Most competitors have smaller touchscreen infotainment systems and require consumers to upgrade for a larger screen.

The 2022 Mazda CX-9 Touring trim comes standard with leather first and second-row seats. It features a power liftgate for easier trunk access. The CX-9 Touring also includes Mazda Advanced Keyless Entry and an auto-dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink.

HomeLink connects the Mazda CX-9 Touring to your home allowing drivers to open certain garage doors with the simple press of a button on the rearview mirror. The CX-9’s Touring trim uses high-quality materials and incorporates tech to make the SUV as easy to access and use as possible.

The 2022 Mazda CX-9 Touring starts at $37,430. Drivers can add the Touring Premium Package for an additional $2,080. The Touring Premium Package includes features like a wireless phone charger, third-row USB ports, front and rear parking sensors and a power moonroof.

The 2022 Mazda CX-9 starts at $35,280. It is slightly more expensive than other midsize SUV models like the Toyota Highlander and Honda Pilot.

The CX-9 is enjoyable to drive because of its perky powertrain. Its refined cabin is worth spending a little more money on. If you upgrade to the Touring trim with the Touring Premium Package, you’ll pay about $4,230 more than the base model’s price.
