The 2022 Kia Sorento X-Line SX Prestige starts at $43,090. It uses a 2.5-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine to make 281 horsepower. The Sorento X-Line SX Prestige achieves 21 miles per gallon in the city and 28 miles per gallon on the highway.

The X-Line SX Prestige comes with heated and ventilated front seats as well as heated second-row seats. The X-Line SX Prestige also comes with second-row captain’s chairs as well. It features a smart power liftgate and high-utility roof rails. The SUV comes with 20-inch alloy wheels with an X-Line Gray finish.

The mid-size SUV comes with a panoramic sunroof and power sunshade. The final trim of the Sorento includes plenty of luxury features, but what about the tech?

What tech does the 2022 Kia Sorento X-Line feature?

The 2022 Kia Sorento X-Line SX Prestige features a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment/navigation system with Kia Connect. It also includes a Bose premium audio system.

The X-Line SX Prestige comes with both a surround-view monitor and a blind-spot monitor. The mid-size SUV features a 12.3-inch digital instrument gauge cluster. It also includes a smart key with push-button start and remote start.

The SUV comes with a wireless phone charger and a parking distance warning feature as well. It also includes plenty of driver assistance and safety features.

The X-Line SX Prestige features rear cross-traffic alert and avoidance, lane keeping and lane following assist, safe exit assist, and enhanced auto emergency braking technology with cyclist detection and junction turning. It also comes with rear occupant alert with ultrasonic sensors and navigation-based smart cruise control.

Should you buy a Kia Sorento X-Line SX Prestige?

The 2022 Kia Sorento X-Line SX Prestige comes with plenty of great features that make the mid-size SUV more comfortable and more intuitive, yet it may not be worth its hefty price tag. While the X-Line SX Prestige has plenty of great features, it isn’t the best mid-size Kia model offered by the South Korean automaker.

According to U.S. News & World Report, the 2022 Kia Telluride is considered to be one of the best mid-size SUVs available. The Sorento, on the other hand, falls below other mid-size SUVs like the Mazda CX-9 and Jeep Grand Cherokee in rankings.

The X-Line SX Prestige offers excellent value for its price, but the Kia Telluride is much more spacious. Why settle for the second-best Kia mid-size SUV when the 2022 Kia Telluride SX tops out at just $43,915?
