Before we get into the 2022 Jeep Wrangler High Tide, did you know about Jeep Beach? It’s the mecca for Jeep fun in the sun. According to Motor Trend, Jeep Beach is an annual event in Daytona, Florida, that brings in 20,000 Jeep models and attracts over 200,000 visitors. 

This is one of the most significant Jeep-only events in the nation. Jeep enthusiasts gather worldwide to check out the industry’s newest products from over 200 vendors at the Daytona International Speedway. 

Since 2012, Jeep Beach has donated over two million dollars to local charities through week-long fundraising events. Jeep events include a 5k fun run, Jeep Parade, and more. 

Jeep Beach will take place April 25 – May 1. Registration is $80 per vehicle and includes access for yourself and everyone who can legally fit in your Jeep with a seat belt. 

To honor this event, Stellantis is making the first 500 High Tide models limited edition Beach Jeep models. They will be set apart from the regular high Tide models with unique ‘Beach’ decals on the sides of the hood. 

What comes with the Wrangler High Tide? 

This might be obvious, but the 2022 Jeep Wrangler High Tide is inspired by Summer. When you look at the photos, can you smell the sweet scent of sunscreen and salty ocean air? Can you hear the relaxing crushing waves or feel the warm beach sand between your toes? 

If not, then Jeep has some work to do. Anyways, the High Tide is based on the Wrangler Sport S model and wears a new shade of vivid yellow High Velocity paint. This color will be available across the entire lineup. 

The Wrangler High Tide comes with a body-color hardtop and the new Sunrider Flip Top. It also includes a Gorilla Glass windshield, rock rails, LED headlamps, LED fog lamps, and High Tide hood decals. 

Plus, the Xtreme off-road package is standard. It consists of a 1.5-inch factory suspension lift, custom-tuned shock absorbers, a shortened axle ratio of 4.56:1, and 35-inch BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires. 

How much is the Wrangler High Tide?

The 2022 Jeep Wrangler High Tide models start at about $50,835. The Wrangler Rubicon starts at about $41,400. So, the High Tide does come with quite the upcharge. It’s powered by the standard 3.6-liter V6 engine with 285 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. 

You can order yours now, and if you aren’t into the bright shade of High Velocity, you can opt for StingGrey or Hydro Blue instead. We just noticed that these colors have aquatic puns in their titles.
